Expert Secrets was an interesting read, especially the first few chapters. As I got deeper into the book, I began to lose interest, but being the completionist that I am, I eventually finished it. I think the part that began to become offputting to me is that Russel Brunson seems to have an opinion about marketing that is quite effective, but in my opinion, is one of the many ways our society has become decadent. He focuses his marketing playing on our desires for status, wealth, and showing off. He tries the convince the reader to do the same.
That all being said, I do not dismiss everything he discusses in this book. There is a lot of valuable information to be utilized, but in my opinion, if we are to build a healthier society, some of his advice should be ignored or taken with a grain of salt.
